Driving to Annapolis is convenient from numerous cities on the Eastern seaboard. The drive is less than an hour from the nation's capital of Washington, D.C., and nearby Baltimore. If you are travelling from Philadelphia, it is about two hours. About four hours from New York City.
Travelling by air is convenient to nearby Baltimore-Washington International Marshall Airport (BWI). Washington's National and Dulles airports are a little further but still within an hour or so.
Train travel is easy to nearby Amtrak stations at BWI Airport, New Carrollton on the Washington Beltway (I-495), Union Station in downtown Washington, D.C., and Penn Station in downtown Baltimore.
